Pastoral Care

Coeducation is education for life. Naturally

Pastoral Care Policy

All Saints’ College regards the effective pastoral care of students as imperative and all members of the College staff and wider community share the responsibility of contributing to the creation of a positive pastoral environment.

“Nurturing the children of today for tomorrow’s future.”

Since our students invest their formative years within the confines of our campus, it is incumbent upon the Executive and staff to provide a safe, secure and supportive environment designed to ensure holistic development. Further, while striving to enhance student learning and academic performance, we acknowledge that this is more likely to occur if our students feel safe, secure and supported in the context of their learning environment.

College Objectives and Pastoral Care

The following Pastoral Care objectives exist within the seven detailed under the All Saints’ College Purpose Statement:

  1. to provide a learning and teaching programme which effectively enables the intellectual, creative, social, emotional, spiritual and physical development of our students and which takes account of individual differences;
  2. to provide a foundation for students to become life-long learners, to be creative in their personal endeavours and to behave as responsible citizens who care for others and the environment;
  3. to provide for all individuals within the College community by providing the opportunity to develop and grow spiritually within the context of a Christian community.

The All Saints’ College Pastoral Vision

Our Vision is the provision of a friendly, safe, secure and supportive environment for our students in addition to the holistic development of self-esteem, fostering of positive attitudes and respect for others.
