Senior School

Coeducation is education for life. Naturally

All Saints’ College Senior School

At All Saints’ College, our focus is on creating a learning environment that encourages students to be inquiring with an independent perspective on diverse issues. To this end, our learning programs are deliberately constructed to be student-centred, differentiated, challenging, and rigorous.

As one of the leading private high schools in Perth, all individual pathways are carefully planned, monitored, and assessed so that the learning needs of each student are met in an environment that is both supportive and affirming. Our dedicated staff are firmly committed to helping students achieve their potential, both in their college and personal lives.

Our mission is to:

  • Develop programs that promote the benefits of coeducation
  • Provide a conducive learning environment
  • Adhere and exceed the new Australia Curriculum
  • Provide pastoral care for all students
  • Promote consistency in all educational programs
  • Create cohesion across all elements of the College

The majority of our students are tertiary bound and the College offers students a wide range of curriculum options along with the guidance and support to achieve personal academic goals and aspirations. This is one reason why we created the ACE program in the Senior School—to provide a learning environment that challenges students to realise their full potential.

Varied and engaging pathways are offered for those seeking alternatives to TAFE or employment. For more details on our curriculum, click here for Academic Information Handbooks. Our curriculum is focused on engaging and challenging students in a supportive environment.

Quality Teachers

Teachers are valuable assets. Even the most well thought teaching curriculum will fail with poor implementation. Students risk being overlooked or being completely neglected, serious concerns for any parent. Recruiting and retaining high quality teachers remains a top priority for us.

All Saints’ College employs a rigorous process during the selection of staff. This ensures each staff member will add value to our school and enhance our exceptionally strong academic profile. Our teachers are fully committed to delivering diverse teaching and learning experiences for every student.

Additional Educational Support

All Saints’ College students experience academic challenge and rigour throughout their time at the College. Extension programs have evolved from ‘best practice’ gifted and talented programs. Click here for an explanation of the College’s ‘Achieve, Challenge and Excel’ (‘ACE’) program.

Support classes are also offered to those students who require academic help and one-on-one small group encouragement and guidance. All Learning Areas and courses across each year group offer academic support in either before-school or after-school sessions.

For those students who desire the support of a supervised homework program, our Homework Café operates Monday to Thursday until 5:00pm. This is a structured and quiet place where students can work, in the secure knowledge that a teacher is available for help and guidance. Click here for Technology Integration information.

Pastoral Care

All Saints’ College is widely regarded for its pastoral care to support students in all areas of educational and personal development. We believe that every student has significant potential and the key to unlocking is by creating an environment that is highly conducive to learning.

Our objective is to provide a solid foundation for students to develop intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Our vision is on the provision of a truly supportive environment for all students during their most formative years.

This philosophy extends to all of our programs from curricular to extracurricular activities.
