9.00am–12.00pm
Easter Egg dyeing DYEING EASTER EGGS with Lyn from My Delicious. Participants in this workshop will learn how to decorate Easter Eggs the “old fashioned” way.  Knowing how to decorate eggs is something that every child wants to learn.  It’s an ancient tradition that’s still enjoyed today!  It’s an easy and fun way to welcome the festival of Easter!  Wear closed in shoes, bring along an apron and be prepared for a morning of fun.  Cost: $35.00

pouring coffee BARISTA COFFEE FOR YOUR CV & HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE SPOONS  with Michael Snadden (ages 13-17).  Flat white, latte, cappuccino? Do you want a part time job in a café? Michael will guide you to learn or freshen up your skills making classic espresso coffee production.  Gain the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages and be prepared for that café or restaurant job. Learn how to operate a commercial espresso machine. In addition to this, participants will make homemade chocolate spoons. All ingredients and equipment provided. A Certificate of Completion for your CV will be presented at the conclusion of this workshop. Wear closed in shoes and bring along an apron. Cost: $65.00 SOLD OUT

Easter Basket Cake EASTER BASKET CAKE with Lyn from My Delicious. Participants will be provided with a freshly baked cake that they will cut and fill with their own hand made decorations. Participants will also make their own ganache icing and chocolate pieces to put around their cake to create an Easter Basket masterpiece!  Remember to wear closed in shoes and bring an apron for this super fun, unmissable workshop. Cost: $50.00 SOLD OUT

Mind Buzz Mind Craft Camp MINECRAFT CAMP with MINDBUZZ. Minecraft camps are designed to be exciting engaging and a safe and fun place to make friends and learn new skills. Students learn server commands which are the building blocks of coding and advanced computing. All participants receive a camper lanyard, a 20-page workbook and one month access to the safe server following the camp so participants can continue playing with their new friends. Students are welcome to bring own mouse (one will be provided but sometimes participants have their own awesome gaming mouses) and if they like to listen to the game music, they can bring headphones.  Book early for this workshop for children of ALL Minecraft skill levels. Mind Buzz Mine Craft Camp MINECRAFT CAMP with MINDBUZZ. Minecraft camps are designed to be exciting engaging and a safe and fun place to make friends and learn new skills. Students learn server commands which are the building blocks of coding and advanced computing. All participants receive a camper lanyard, a 20-page workbook and one month access to the safe server following the camp so participants can continue playing with their new friends. Easter Gravity Cake GRAVITY EGG CAKE COOKING WORKSHOP with Lyn from My Delicious. In the morning participants will be cooking their own cake and making the ganache and fondant bunny decorations. Lunch will follow and on return participants will cut, fill and then cover their cakes, construct the gravity falling eggs and then place their fondant decorations! Imagine having this cake to share at Easter with family and friends! Wear closed in shoes and bring along an apron.  Cost: $70.00 SOLD OUT

Bespoke Slime Workshop BESPOKE SLIME WORKSHOP with SlimeFX. Due to overwhelming popular demand, our Bespoke Slime Workshop is back for these holidays with an Easter twist! This slime workshop will have participants perfecting their slime making skills and creating slime masterpieces!  Participants will make 3 Easter themed bespoke scented slimes that will come with decorations and Easter themed slime charms! This is seriously the most slime fun you will have these holidays! Be quick as places will fill fast! Cost: $50.00 SOLD OUT

Dog Cupcakes ANIMAL MANIA CUPCAKES with Lyn from My Delicious. Participants will have the opportunity to use their creative skills and put their own twist on their animal mania creations! Each participant will be provided with 12 ready made cupcakes and given step-by-step instructions to help guide them to pipe, ice or make shapes out of fondant. Participants will have heaps of fun decorating these cupcakes. Just remember to wear closed in shoes and to bring an apron. Cost: $50.00 SOLD OUT

As part of our commitment to child safety, we use a sign in / sign out software application called Passtab. This requires you to scan a copy of your ticket at drop off and pick up and takes a photo of the student for identification purposes only. A instruction video of what you will need to do on arrival and pick up can be viewed here

REFUND POLICY: Whilst every effort is made to run workshops as publicised, on occasion changes to workshop, location and presenter of a workshop may need to be made.  All Saints’ College reserves the right to make these changes.  If you are unable to attend, notice must be given five days before the commencement of program to receive a refund.  If a workshop is cancelled by All Saints’ College, we will refund your money in full.


GRANDPARENTS AND GRANDCHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Tuesday, 16 April 2019: 9.00am – 12.00pm (Lower Theatre) 

Grandmother and grandchildCapturing memories to last a lifetime and beyond, this unique three-hour intensive photography workshop is specifically designed for Grandparents and their Grandchild (or Grandchildren). It will be a day not only to learn the basics of portrait photography 101, but also one filled with fun, laughter and potential for some serious multi-generational bonding!

Grandparent and Grandchild will have an opportunity to photograph each other using the latest Canon DSLR (digital) equipment and under the expert guidance of experienced Fire Tech photography tutors. With three different sets stationed around the room with professional lighting and props, our students will photograph each other, staged and unstaged.

The workshop includes one high quality photo-print take home per attendee, a family USB with all photos from the day uploaded and a workshop certificate for each participant.

This workshop is suitable for students aged 9+ and Grandparents of any age!

Cost: $30.00 per person (maximum of two grandchildren per grandparent – Includes morning tea)

These school holidays, Firetech Australia will be running their hugely popular STEAM-based school holiday workshops in April for children aged 6–17.

Firetech workshops also represent an exciting, technology-based learning experience, where children can be challenged and engage their design thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills – building great digital citizens for the future.

2016 Australian Sports Camps White logo

The College has partnered with Australian Sports Camps for the first time these April School Holidays to facilitate a Basketball Camp and a Netball Camp that will run for three days. The program is available for 6-16 year old players of all levels.
