ANU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ian Young AO, congratulated all the 2015 Tuckwell Scholarship winners and said they were not only some of Australia’s brightest scholars, but also students who demonstrated a commitment to giving back to the community.

Jonathan plans to study a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics along with Juris Doctor.

“I was thrilled to accept this scholarship – my teachers provided me with the optimal environment for growth and offered fantastic opportunities to serve the community. Attending ANU will assist me to build on this strong foundation. I am deeply honoured to have the opportunity to make a difference in the world through service to a wider community”, said Jonathan.

College Principal, Ms Belinda Provis, said the College was very proud of Jonathan, who was a worthy recipient of this scholarship.  “Jonathan is a most accomplished young man, who is not only bright and hardworking, but also gives generously of his time to the College as a member of the Student Leadership Team and in active service to the community.
