Welcome to All Saints’ College Playgroup!

Playgroups offer a fantastic opportunity for young children to learn and develop valuable life skills through play and are a great way for parents to become familiar with the school environment and build relationships with staff and other families living in the local area,

Session times:  Tuesdays, 9.00am – 10.30am (during term)

Venue:                 All Saints’ College – Lower Theatre (parking via Carpark 1 or 3)

Fees:                   $35 Annual Family Membership Fee to Playgroup WA Inc, or $15 if you have a health care card, which gives you access to a number of member benefits and ensures you are covered by the necessary insurances[1] [2]

                            $5 Term fee (payable directly to the Playgroup at the beginning of each term) to cover ongoing cost of consumables, including the purchase of craft  materials, sunscreen, etc.

Bring:                Please bring your own child’s water bottle, hat and healthy snack.

 

All Saints’ College Playgroup is run entirely by parents and your input is valued and appreciated, whether helping with set-up or clean up, organising a craft activity or exercise for that week, or volunteering for story time.

Playgroup sessions are flexible, but generally run as follows:

9:00 am                     Sign in and set up.

9:00 – 10:00 am    Free play (indoor &outdoor) plus simple guided activity (craft).

10:00 am                  Morning tea time (children bring own morning tea and will eat together on the picnic mat).

10:15 am                   Music/Rhyme/Story time conducted by staff from the music department at All Saints’ College.

10:30 am                   All parents pack up and goodbye time.

 

Rules:

Playgroup runs during term time and will break for school and public holidays.

Hot drinks: Please be mindful of the young children.

Safety: Each parent is responsible for their own child’s behaviour and safety.

Sick Children: If you child is unwell they should not attend playgroup.

Signing in: Please sign in each week on the attendance sheet.

Nappy Change: Please take used nappies home with you to be disposed.

Being a part of your child’s early experiences is precious and Playgroup is a great way for you to influence those all-important early years and still have time for a coffee and chat with friends.

[2] The Annual Playgroup WA Membership Fee and Term Fee must be paid by the third visit, this gives you an opportunity to check out the facilities and meet the families to ensure this Playgroup is a good fit for you and your family. Each family pays only one membership fee per year regardless of the number of playgroups attended and the number of children in the family. If you are already a Playgroup WA member (i.e., are currently a member of another Playgroup) no additional membership fee is required.
