Volunteering at All Saints’ College

Are you interested in volunteering at All Saints’? The college is always appreciative of parents who are willing to offer their skills and time to help in a variety of ways. Times can be flexible to suit other commitments you may have, and it is a great way to become involved in our community.

Wanju Café
The café is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s 8.00am to 11.00am during term time and provides a place for the community to meet over a great cup of coffee. We are looking for volunteers who can help a couple of days a month or on a more regular basis. If you are interested, please email wanju@allsaints.wa.edu.au with your contact details.

The Canteen Staff are always in need of an extra pair of hands. Enthusiasm to be a part of your child’s College is all we need. Ideally the hours are 9.00am to 1.30pm, however any amount of time you can provide is appreciated. We know that you will enjoy the experience. Pop in and see us or contact the Canteen Manager @ colin.lynn@allsaints.wa.edu.au or on 93101470 between 7am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

It is very important that the students have as much assistance available to them as possible when in the Library. To continue assisting them it is important to have parents or members of the community volunteer their time and effort to ensure that the quality of help in the Library remains high. Should anyone wish to volunteer a few hours a week, once or twice a term, or whenever you are available, it would be greatly appreciated. No experience is necessary. Tasks can include: covering, shelving, shelf checking and shelf tidying. Any family member or extended family member is welcome to join our volunteer group. If you are interested, please email info@allsaints.wa.edu.au and indicate if you are able to assist in the morning or afternoons on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Uniform Shop
Duties involve serving parents and students, stocktaking and shelving. Extra help is needed in November and January, when the uniform shop offers one-on-one sessions with new students. The shop open Monday 7.30am to 11.30am, Wednesday and Thursday 12.00pm to 5.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 2.00pm. Please email uniform.store@allsaints.wa.edu.au if you are interested in helping.

Parents & Friends (P&F)
The All Saints College Parents & Friends’ Society (P&F) is an enthusiastic group of forward-thinking parents, working together to promote the strong sense of family spirit that exists within our school. Some of the events the P&F hosts include:
Pasar Malam (March): bringing together new and continuing parents, students and staff in a magical night market atmosphere
Quiz Night (June): where parents make up a table and pit their wits against our quiz master, while kids enjoy the Kids Club.
Junior School Disco (Nov)
Senior School Book Sale (Nov)

We are also looking for Parent Social coordinators for each class/year group to help organise parent and student social activities. Whilst we appreciate that busy parents don’t often have a lot of free time, we love to welcome new faces, so come along to a meeting and share your time and thoughts with us. Why not take a more active role in the College community, as well as make some great new friends. Please email pandf@allsaints.wa.edu.au
